This cartoon depicts a Jihadi standing over the body of "Superman," which is supposed to represent America and our military lying dead in Iraq. The artist, Carlos Latuff, has authored several comics about Middle East situations that are critical towards the United States. The cartoon displays the artist's strong belief that America should no longer be intervening in affairs in Iraq. I think this cartoon may be a little extreme. I understand the artist is against excessive foreign intervention, but this cartoon almost appears to be pro-Jihad.
